It is a white acrylic paint with good coverage. I'm drawing a lot, but it's cost-effective and pump-type, so it's good to use. It mixes well with other colors. It's a slight watery paint. Good thickness paint.

Perfect for crafts

I LOVE Mont Marte paints and am so glad I finally found a paint that is both economical and high quality. Your paint has great pigment load and a rich buttery consistency perfect for my high school painting class. Add the durable packaging and the included spout and its a no brainer. Mont Marte brand has now fully replaced my old brand (chromacryl) which had viscosity and mold issues the last 4 years.

Great for pouring art. The paint has a lot of pigment and it allows to use it as pillow paint for acrylic pour without it “eating” the other paints, as was the case with some other whites I used before.

The paint is great for the price point, nice and thick which I appreciate. However I was very disappointed that my set came with cerulean blue instead of the ultramarine blue.

I was very pleased with this paint. It is thick and smooth and goes a long way. The price is very reasonable and is an excellent value for students, beginners, those on a tight budget or artists that do large pieces and need lots of paint. The packaging is excellent, no chance of leakage or damage, and the pump make dispensing easy. I will definitely re-order in the future.

I bought 2L of phthalo blue to use as a base coat for a mural and was really pleased with the quality - enough to replace my trunks of 2oz expensive acrylics with just the basic colors of these! I’d say Mont Marte is on par with Liquitex, for anyone worried by the phrase “great for classrooms!” 😉 Also, in case it’s hard to find, they’re semi-matte medium body. PS: I’ve been ordering these for a while and received the wrong item for the first time today (small label has correct order, main label a different color). Still giving five stars and reordering because it’s a color I didn’t have yet.

we purchased this paint for a few different wood projects. we have not even used half of the first bottle and have painted a dozen shelves of various sizes, a large cabinet and other items. We do water it down a little because it allows the wood grains to show giving it almost a burnt wood look without the smell or mess. we still have many more projects to paint and will buy again if we do ever run out. the best part is this paint does not cause have fumes or added fragrances that trigger my asthma like other brands we have tried.
