Review: Works great for my needs... - Works awesome! My application requires close to 12 volts with the input voltage varying from 11.5 - 14 volts. This does the trick holding the output voltage at exactly 12.5 volts across an even larger input voltage range than I require. Admittedly, I would have been fine with the 3 amp version but chose the 5 amp to provide additional current capacity. I am drawing 1.7 amps continuous and it does not even get warm to the touch.
Review: Solves voltage drop over long 12v landscape lighting runs - Worked perfectly. I had a long run of low voltage landscape wire driving my LED accent lights. The voltage inevitably drops over distance and the lights stop working after about 100ft. I installed this boost there and it bumped the voltage back up to 12.5v and helped drive the remaining 75ft of LED lights. Perfect solution.

**Q: If  it fails, does it pass the input voltage straight through or does it block it?**
A: Blocks it and doesn't work

**Q: Vent fan connect to led interior light. led burns out. can this stabilize interior led power save from burn out??**
A: Only one word, excellent !!!!

**Q: Several people have asked if the grounds on this module can be tied together. i asked drok, an they said yes, because the module is non-isolated. ok?**
A: Black wires are already tied together inside module.  One black wire (ground/ return) goes to input, second black wire goes to output/ load.  Have a blessed day!

**Q: Can the 2 negatives share a common ground?**
A: This goes in the line.  You will have a positive and negative going to your load.  You  cut the wires and hook the positive and negative from your power sorce to ine in-side and the positive and negative coming out go to the load.  Simple.

Works awesome! My application requires close to 12 volts with the input voltage varying from 11.5 - 14 volts. I installed this voltage regulator for my power amplifier in my 4x4 van. It lasted a total of 35 days and failed. A test showed it puts out only 2 volts now.
