This is one of the better designs as the hexagon ensures it stays in place when stored.The grip is comfortable and thick enough for most palm sizes. Both weigh the same which is important if used in tandem.So far despite daily use, sweat, dirt, the units have stayed clean and there is no odor. Yet to wipe/clean them but I am not expecting any surprises. Overall if weights are equal and it is practical to use, I would buy similar design & quality from another brand if it were cheaper.
