It holds up against my smart lav+ from Rode which I still prefer but for the price it's a great B mic. *However you need to attach the short adapter cable for use with a smartphone in my case an iPhone 4s as a "microphone pack" and this can be an issue since the adapter cable can come loose when shooting as people wiggle and then you have zero audio. This happened on a take but I gaff taped the adapter on. Just be aware this can be an issue and make sure you secure the adapter if your using this as an interview mic for video. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but easily fall off *by N***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2015* The mike arrived very well packaged. It was purchased to help my father inlaws speech to be understood since has parkinson's disease. He spoke very quietly and a little mumbled, so we used the mike with a iphone, coupled with a mike app and a blue tooth speaker. It seemed to work well, but he passed away before we could set it up for him.One small issue, the foam pads over the mike to prevent popping work, but easily fall off.
