Nativity Figurine, Christmas Tree

Expectations were low for this 21-inch nativity tree figurine because it's increasingly rare that hand-painting is done well. But this piece is truly impressive. I ordered the gold/silver version. The skill with which the eyebrows, eyelashes and even the irises of the eyes were painted is quite impressive. (Baby Jesus has a bit of glopping on the sides of his mouth, like he just ate a chocolate bar, but that's the only flaw I found.) What I like most about this piece that after so much time spent browsing for a compact nativity scene, this was the only one that had ALL of elements -- and all in one piece -- of the nativity story . This is the only affordable one I found that is replete with Jesus, Mary, Joseph, a shepherd holding a lamb, the three wisemen (with Balthazar properly depicted) and their gifts, and the ox and the ass and the angel and the star. And they threw in a palm tree. I am going to keep this on display all year.

Bought as a gift. Bit pricey but a nice compact size. The figures are nice to look at, not grotesque. The coloring is good. Would buy many more if half the price.

This is a very beautiful figurine and a nice size for our smaller, downsized home. It is beautifully crafted, the colors are a very pleasing, and it has a lovely 3-d effect. Used it in a place of honor in our new living room and will bring it out every Christmas from now on. It came in about 3 weeks later than Amazon estimated, so I'm glad I ordered it early enough to still get it in time for Christmas last year. I love it.

Really happy with this purchase. The colors and details are so beautiful. It was a bit of a splurge for me, but I know it will be a staple piece for our family Christmas for years to come.

Beautiful NATIVITY CHRISTMAS TREE. The craftmanship is perfectly perfect. My daughter was thrilled to receive this unique gift which will be enjoyed for years to come. She has the metallic version, and it is stunning. It is a conversation piece.

The figures are quite detailed and nicely paint. The size is a bit smaller than I thought. Very sturdy and solid to stand by itself.
