Has anyone tried adding powdered sea salt to the saline to see if the pump still works properly?

I added 0.9% solution prepared in a separate container using non-iodized salt and it works. Concentration's above this may not as a small droplet after use sits in the nozzle. The concentration of Sodium chloride (salt) in blood is 0.9%.

How many milliliters per spray are these?

I filled mine up and it took 124 sprays to empty it.

Does this spray bottle have any metal parts, like a metal spring?

Can't remember that but mine broke inside my nose and a week later I sneezed out a little plastic disc. Avoid these
