庭師の父に頼まれ３つ注文しました。Amazonってこんな物まで買えるんですね！父曰く、やっぱり岡恒に限る！切れ味が良い！らしいです。普通の剪定鋏よりタフでパワフルです。家庭の園芸鋏みたいに細い枝を切るだけでなく、太い枝もジャキジャキいける。太目の枝はコツがあって平行に切るのではなく、斜めに刃を入れると切れる。当たり前ですが、連続して切ると手が痛くなる。父は仕事柄握力が凄いのですが、握力と斜め切りを上手く使えれば(木によって固さが違うので一概に何センチなどと言えないですが)結構な太い枝も切れます。父は毎日フルに使うので、先が折れたりして頻繁に買い換えていますが、家庭で使うなら無理な使い方をしなければ折れるなんて事はないと思います。そして鋏カバーも頻繁に出し入れするので、先の刃が当たるところが穴が開いてくるので毎回カバーが付いてくるのは嬉しいです。また頼まれたら注文します。

分不相応な道具を持ってしまったような気もしますが、確かに剪定の際の切応え感はたまらないですね。道具に愛想をつかされないように、よく使い、よく手入れしてやらなくっちゃという気にさせられます。カバー付きを購入してよかった。あと何年脚立に乗っかって庭木の剪定を自力でできるかわかりませんが、この植木鋏のためにも足腰を鍛錬して長く庭園芸を楽しみたいと思います。耐久性等々がまだわからないので、とりあえず☆４つです。2021/12/24 追記まだ家庭園芸の必需品として使っています。時折り汚れや防錆落としする程度でまだまだ役立ってくれます。私自身の体がいつまで脚立を使っての選定を続けられるか、の方が心配・・・。
