I prefer ceramic knives because they are so sharp and keep a good edge. This set has some very useful sizes. My first test was slicing thin slices of farm fresh tomatoes and they sliced through with no hesitation, nice clean cuts. The ceramic vegetables peeler is a welcome tool. I threw out the old metal one, I only use ceramic now. This is also a very nice looking set and takes up very little space on the counter which is very important. It is sturdy and has not tipped over. My house flooded in the Houston flooding and I have been living in my rv. Space is very limited this set is excellent because of the small footprint. I may have to buy another for the house when we get to move back in. I would recommend it. I was Not given anything for this review ! Very sharp and appear to be very well made.I've had these knives just over two months now. Each of the knives had had the tip chip off while using them in normal day to day usage. But that's not the worst. I've hand washed these knives each and every day and they have become more and more stained. Please see the attached photos.
