Love tha story line and the drawings. Easy to read to my baby.

I will agree with the reviewer that states it is odd that the first page shows mom waving the pigs away with a hanky. However, I don't have a reader, so I made up my own version. I tell my son the pigs packed a lunch for a long day out playing. They got cold & decided to build some houses. I really don't want to get into the possibility that they were accepted in college & mommy pig was sad because she was facing an empty nest. Perhaps she was worried about picking up her career where she left off..... Summary: This book does a great job of telling a classic tale in a way that is fun & not scary for small children. This is a retelling of the original story. I did prefer the original story to this version as I had to stop an explain what lashings were when building a house or tying sticks together, etc... while reading this to my daughter. I feel the author added in some things that are more advanced for what is originally a toddler type storybook. With that said, the graphics are good and the price point is unbeatable.

The quality of the book was great and the content was age appropriate.

This book is really good..and it is well illustrated. My son loves it very much. And now a days for bed time he always reads it. Loved it.

I am a homeschool mom who has started introducing fairytales and the like. I went to my local library, and somehow could not find a single copy of The Theee Little Pigs. Lo and behold, Amazon to the rescue! This book is really cute with adorable illustrations, is well written and pretty detailed considering the price. It also arrived very quickly, which definitely helped with our homeschooling needs.

It’s a lovely story. My 3 year old had been covering it at preschool and kept reciting it so we purchased a copy for at home. We’ve read it countless times and she still enjoys it. I know other reviews say the ending has changed, but I honestly couldn’t remember what the original ending was so it didn’t cause an issue for us.

It’s always amazing to tell your kid the same story you’d been hearing when you were a child. Lovely.

Les textes sont faciles à lire et conforme aux contes que l'on connait. On en a acheté une dizaine il y a 3-4 ans en arrière et les petits ont bien accrochés. Nous passons de bons moments à lire et relire ces contes. A chaque fois on insiste plus sur le vocabulaire, les dessins aident à comprendre et aussi pour poser des questions. Seul bémol, le papier est "plastifié"ce qui est superbe mais la couverture n'est épaisse, c'est plus maniable mais ça s'abime plus vite aussi, surtout avec les plus petits mais on ne peut pas tout avoir!! Je recommande vivement. Très bon rapport qualité prix surtout qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de trouver des livres en anglais (et à petit prix).

The books from this author are well-written and use good vocabulary beyond the simple basic story. My only regret with his story is that the wolf didn't propose to go to Mr. Jones' farm and get frightened away when they rolled down the hill in a barrel when the pigs outsmarted him, as it was in my childhood version. This wolf doesn't get boils either, sadly. Times have changed, and our villains just disappear. Maybe that's better for kids.
