Review: V bright light, great value - This bike light,is great value for money, yet very well made ,sturdy, easy to use, and has a very bright light,4 modes, and fully rechargeable, easy clip fit,and waterproof,I would highly recommend this,to anyone.
Review: Pressing switch causes beam to move down. - I like the light, don't get me wrong.....the 400 lumens is bright enough for the unlit roads I travel at 25-35 mph, but when I am transitioning from differently iluminated areas, pressing the switch firmly enough to change brightness causes the light to move downwards. The switch ideally needs to be positioned above the mounting position, not ahead of it. (Edit; it's possible to tighten the bracket enough to prevent this without damaging it) The switch is also difficult to double-press whilst wearing gloves. Both of these factors mean that you really need to reduce speed (or stop) to change modes safely, taking a hand of the bar to reverse your wrist so you can support the underside of the light to prevent beam deviation whilst you press with your thumb means that I find it easier to use this light on max brightness throughout my 45 minute commute, recharge at work and max it home, not sure it will do 90 mins on a single charge, anyone else had similar experiences? (Edit; yes, it does, but not on max power!) I like the mounting bracket, it offers a few degrees of side to side adjustment, the light is easy to remove and slips into a pocket without any uncomfortable protrusions. The beam is bright and illuminates a good stretch of the road ahead, with plenty of side spread illumination for bends and curves. The charge port is well sealed by a captive cover. Edit; I have increased my rating from 3 stars to 5, very impressed with this light and I can recommend it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it fit bike with aero bars**
A: The improved Flex-Tight bracket supplied with the lamp will fit both MTB and drop handlebars and is very sturdy and unlikely to move. There is a range of other mounting options, including the Cateye GoPro mounting adapter that allows you to attach your lamp upside down under your bike computer.

**Q: Why does this item only, says, warning this toy does not provide protection**
A: well if u try to keep it in your hand on full power for like 10 minuts , then it does not provide any protection :)

**Q: Any experience with heavy rains...so far my ipx4 lights died in long or heavy rain? so my next plan is to buy a diving light.**
A: I never got any mayor issue with any cateye lights even one with battery and non water resist , so as long as now for british weather i didnt have any problem with this one , solid protection from any leak except if u turn it upside down then the usb slot may be a problem :)

**Q: Please can anyone help ,i need a socket plug to "plug in' the usb cable to, can anyone advise which i need,am so confused between usb 2.4 fast charge**
A: Any will do for charging, it's how long it will take to charge .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good lights
*by B***M on 9 January 2025*

Easy to fit and adjust the handle bar mounting. Easy to fit and remove the light from the mounting. Not sure if this review is for the 400 or 500 lumen. 400 is plenty good enough for general commuting. We have a few and they’re used quite a lot. Bright enough for night time unlit tracks (we do not do fast downhill MTB type stuff!). Use flashing all the time during the day if on roads. At night use hyper flash on lit roads. At night use steady on for unlit roads. Battery may not last quite as long as advertised but pretty good. We take a spare with us for any lengthy nighttime trips just in case. Easy and quick to charge.
