Stylish, functional and affordable. I made a keyboard tray for my desk out of a 2x12, and apparently the wood had some slight warping that is not noticeable to the naked eye BUT my mouse had a major problem with. Essentially, my mouse didn't work at ALL anymore. So I wanted a nice solid keyboard pad that would be truly flat and rigid enough for my mouse to work again...and this EXCEEDED all expectations. It is thin, good looking (I got black), and my mouse works great again! I will note that I prefer to use the mouse on the 'pad' side, not the metal side, because I think the metal side is a little noisy/scratchy when moving my mouse. But it is silent on the pad side, more comfortable, never cold, and there is no frictional resistance when moving my mouse around on it. It also came with sticky pads (optional to add), that I put on the metal side to prevent any minor slipping.
