Worth the investment. Makes sharpening my chain easy and does a great job. Instructions on how to use are clear even for me, a newby at this task. Helps extend the life of my chain - although I would always recommend having a spare!

Follow the directions- it does a pretty good job. Pays for its self in no time. 2 in one because as you sharpen the teeth, it also files the raker.

I personally don't read 5 star reviews. This thing is great. The blade ends up surprisingly sharp and good as new. Easiest to clamp the blade in a vice but could be used in the field. Impressive and quick for a manual tool. I prefer power everything but the reviews are true, this thing is impressive.

This is a very easy, intuitive, and fast way to sharpen your Stihl chainsaw in the field, on the tailgate of the pickup, or at home. About four strokes each tooth all the way around can take a chain which has hit the dirt or a nail or sand trapped or frozen in bark and make it sharp as new again. On a new chain it takes a few strokes to orient properly, but does a good job of keeping the teeth even and filing the guards as well. Would highly recommend and worth every penny.

Works good for sharpening chains quick and easy if you aren’t good with just a normal hand file. The only issue I had was first time using it i applied to much down pressure when filing, this caused the rakers to get filed down way to low. Next chain I sharpened was good after getting used to using and not pushing down.

Passt gut auf die 1/4 Piccco Kette. Bin zufrieden mit dem Schärfer-Set. In dem Feilenhalter ist eine Flachfeile und 2 Rundfeilen. So kann der Feilenhalter von beiden Seiten genutzt werden.

These should be provided with every chainsaw. It is an excellent tool and very easy to use compared to separate flat and round files.
