Solvent weld the included saddle tee to the existing pipe line and secure with included metal V-bolts, washers and nuts. Review: easy install - worked great to tap a new drain line in to an existing one. easy install and significantly less digging than splicing a whole "wye" into the existing. I primed and glued all around the contacting surface of both the new and existing pipe and caulked inside, hopefully it doesn't leak and let roots grow in but for now, im impressed.

worked great to tap a new drain line in to an existing one. easy install and significantly less digging than splicing a whole "wye" into the existing. This was a lifesaver for adding an RV drain to our existing septic system. Instead of needing to dig up a bunch of pipe to install a regular Tee, I only had to dig to the place I intended to tap into it. After deciding where I wanted it, I marked the hole I would need to cut with a marker, then cut it out with a router. The Tee is made from flexible plastic, so that it can tap into either 4" sewer pipe or 4" schedule 40 DWV, flexing to fit either diameter tightly as you tighten the nuts. The flange will fit over 4" schedule 40 DWV, but it also fit perfectly over the outside of a 4" sewer elbow fitting, as shown in the picture. I highly recommend this. No idea why they don't stock these at hardware stores.
