So, starting off with the big question, how's this compare to the littmann classic 3? It's like 90% of the way there. I think the littmann is SLIGHTLY louder. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Now that that's out of the way, who's this for? I'm an EMT on a 911 ambulance. I have a littmann, but honestly I don't wanna lose it. $100 is a lot. I carry it on my person when not on a rig. But as for this? I just leave it inside the ambulance I use for everyone. It's cheap enough that I'm not gonna cry if it gets lost or stolen (i'll definitely be a little sad) but it works almost as well as one double the price. If you're an ER nurse or whatever, sure, I'd recommend going with the 3m, but if you're someone like me in a position where it'll probably get lost or stolen? I fully recommend this thing. All around a great scope, and it'll serve you well

After struggling with blood pressures and breath sounds for several months, I finally decided to order my own stethoscope to see if it was me or the equipment I was using at school. It was the equipment. I did a little research (well, a lot of research) and decided to go with this one. It seemed like a nice one to start off on - great reviews, inexpensive, and a cool color. I purchased it thinking that it would be my first one, and I would get something more expensive later, but I'm prety sure I will keep it around for as long as I can and then get another one like it. Some of my classmates purchased Littmann brand, but when I told them how much mines cost and breezed through my check offs, they started looking up ADC for themselves. The sound quality is great the price is amazing, it's lightweight, and the color makes it stand out from the other stethoscopes in my class. Great product!!

I bought this to use with an ADC BP cuff that I bought on Amazon at the same time. I wanted something to monitor my wife's BP during pregnancy as she has had issues with it in prior pregnancies. This is a fantastic stethoscope. I can hear very well with it even if my kids are making a bunch of noise in the background. It is better than the ones we have on our engines at the fire department. It seems to be well made. The two cons I could come up with... It would be nice if it had a bag/case (though it comes in a box with a foam cutout which is what I store it in) and I do not really like the angle of the ear pieces. Neither of these are reasons to knock off a star. This is an outstanding stethoscope for home or professional use. It may not be fit for a cardiologist (I wouldn't know) but I would trade any of the ones we use in the fire department for this one in a heart beat.

The tubing is too long for me, so using my pocket knife I cut it to the same length as my 3M lightweight. This has much better acoustics, but the build quality isnt as high. The tubing is rubber, not PVC, so it feels somewhat tacky, and doesnt feel as durable. The ear-peices need to be screwed in well or else they may pop off. Maybe some loc-tite would help. The bell doesnt seem as tight as the 3M in its only connection; there is some play. Last thing, the black coating (not powder coated as far as I can tell) will scratch off over time. I think it gives it some character, but others may not. With that said, it looks cool and the sounds that pass through are better than my litmann lightweight (now my back up steth). Pay more if you want the same quality sound but more durable build/paint. Pay a whole lot more if you are doing cardiology and need independent R/L tubing.

Hard to beat for the price. Used this on myself and son right when I got it to see how well it works. Let me say it is 100% better than the cheap stethoscopes I was using in my nursing class. It may not be a Littmann but I would highly recommend this for a nursing student or even in a professional setting. Feels very durable and the "Stealth" all black design looks quite pleasing. It stands out a bit more than your run of the mill stainless steel colored scopes so that may help to identify thieving students/employees. Pros: Economical Durable Attractive finish Works well Cons: None that I can think of If your on the fence with this or the other bigger name brand scopes and wanna save some clams I highly recommend this!
