I've gone through a few USB extension cables over the years for connecting peripherals farther away, and this AINOPE 10ft one is solid. It's USB 3.0 so speeds are fast. Great for external drives or webcams. Plugs in securely on both ends, and the length is perfect without being too much. Build quality feels good with the nylon braiding and reinforced joints. No issues with data transfer dropping or connections loosening after daily use. I use it for my webcam setup and sometimes a hard drive, and it handles everything smoothly without any lag or disconnects. Comes with those handy sticky cable ties too, which help keep things tidy. Update-8/4/25: I'm raising the level of stars because the Vendor reached out in an effort to make things right by offering to either replace the cable or refund the purchase price. They were very nice to communicate with, responded quickly and followed-through which is typically a sign that they want to go above and beyond for their customers. I cannot say anything bad about the vendor as they have done everything they can. In this case, it very well may be that I just got a faulty cable, which can happen. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again. Original Review: Could not maintain a solid connection using this cable. Tried multiple things to ensure it was the cable and not the port on the PC or device. Unfortunately, the issues followed the cable. As a sidenote, I also purchased a slightly longer USB extension cable from this save vendor and it has worked flawlessly. Cable appears to be well made, however it simply did not work so tough to give a very high review unfortunately.

This cable has perfect data speeds for anything you might throw at it, additionally the braided nature makes it feel almost unbreakable as well, with a solid port connection for anything you plug in. When I had a small logistical issue with amazon sending me one cable instead of two, AINOPE customer support sorted out the situation quickly and professionally. Overall this product is amazing especially compared to more expensive options elsewhere and at a competitive price. Would definitely recommend.

I've got a DVR in the closet, and the mouse i use on it has connection issues from time to time. I got this to move the dongle from the DVR to my desk, and now the mouse works just fine. I don't know how well it'd work for extending a USB cable for power or data, but for this, it's perfect. Bottom line: if you need to improve a USB dongle's connection, consider this item.

Actually I've come to appreciate the tactile nature of these nylon braided cables, it feels "nice", also it feels robust. I'm using it to go from the rear ports on my PC to allow me to attach various dongles required for my bike training setup in the shed. It just works really well, Great if like me, you want your PC out of the way, but need to swap dongles on the fly, and your front panel USB ports are full
