Super thankful to have an easy option for simple baby monitor. I don't need a camera on my kid, just want to hear if he's screaming and I'm too far away or have other noise interference. The device alarms if it's out of range or low on battery, so I can be confident in its functionality. I like that it visually shows the audio amplitude even when it's muted, so I can visually monitor my kids winding down without having to hear him constantly. Connectivity is good, works in the range specified. I like that I can use it even outside, easily portable. We've had it for 6 months and no issues. Volume control is good range, plenty loud at the loudest setting and nicely soft at the lowest setting.

This is a very good product. I got it for my baby. My house is soundproof, so I use it on my older children as well when they are napping, as they don't always get out of bed after their nap, and can just lie there quietly for a while wondering why I don't come say hello to them. I have run mine exclusively on battery so far, and it hasn't run out yet. I've only had it a week though, so i'd be horrified if it had. The sound is very clear; I keep ours on the lowest setting, and it's loud enough for me to hear over my cooking noise and fans blowing. It has a few seconds delay built in, so if your child is a noisy sleeper like mine, it doesn't alert you to every grunt and wiggle, but it does come on quickly when they start really crying. I find this very helpful. The product is very very small, so it doesn't get in the way when you carry it around on your belt, which I appreciate. I think the price was fair; I expected a cheap item for the low price, but I'm totally satisfied so far.

We have tried using these monitors two times now while traveling and they're now in the trash. The first time they worked but for the couple hours we needed the monitor to be on battery to keep an ear out the batteries were drained. For a few days trip we had to go out and buy more batteries. Second trip even with the monitor plugged in to charge and not using batteries it would suddenly stop working making these completely useless. We just wanted a basic audio monitor but this isn't it.

I bought this model to replace my previous vtech monitor. I was excited after reading all the reviews about how the parent unit had a walker talkie like feature that you could talk to baby through the parent unit. This model was more money then the vtech I was just going to reorder another of but since this model had the parent microphone I decided to splurge a little more and buy this one as that feature would come in handy. I got my order in today and this does not in fact have a parent speaker 😢 it is a nice convenient small size. I like how it lays flat on the dresser and doesn’t take up a lot of room. The lights don’t look like they will be annoyingly bright in the middle of the night either. The units have a rubber gripper on he bottoms so maybe it won’t fall behind the dresser like my old model would. The sound quality seems great. Only complaint is the misleading comments about parent microphone.

Only works when plugged in-- doesnt work when batteries are installed. Also doesn't play music so not sure why some of the reviews mention that. Sound is ok, not great. Edit: I got rechargeable AAA batteries, and now it works. Still doesn't play music though. Edit 2: rechargeable batteries only sometimes work. Also picks up on ceiling fan hum which is fine but sort of annoying but we can't have everything can we?

This monitor is exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It's affordable and simple but still has very good sound quality (no static!). I keep the parent part plugged in by our bed and it's been so nice for peace of mind. It gave me the reassurance I needed to move her out of our room and into hers. It does pick up the ocean waves sound from her white noise machine, but I don't mind. I can still hear any little sound our daughter makes. You know the grunty complaints a baby makes before it's full-blown crying? I wanted to be able to catch her in those moments and feed her in the night before she was wide awake and upset. This has worked well and we are pleased with our purchase!

The monitor has a great range and sound quality. I can take the monitor downstairs and hear the baby perfectly when he makes a peep. The colored lights that associate the intensity of the noise helps me understand if I need to run to attention or if I need to wait it out to see if the baby can self sooth. The value of the monitor is great. I'm not worried about dropping the parent unit as it is durable, and even if it broke, I would not break the bank to replace. I returned a more expensive monitor that cost $160 because I know that I will eventually drop the parent unit. The range and sound quality of this monitor is actually much better than the $160 monitor. Two downsides of this monitor: 1) you have to replace the battery 2) the parent unit doesn't stand on it's own. This means if you you are not seated looking down at the unit you need to pick it up to see the colored lights that are associated with intensity of sound

This is just what I was looking for: something without all the bells and whistles that would work. This is just an audio monitor that you can plug in or buy batteries to be mobile. It is surprisingly sensative and effective. It even mutes out our sound machine after a few seconds but picks up the baby cries. I also appreciate the visual signal that baby is crying even if the sound is turned down. Totally satisfied with this purchase.
