We have a medium sized inground pool. Easy to put together, just stick the poles in the base, fill base with water, attach and adjust net to your pool size and jump in. This is our 2nd purchase of this item. After 8 years the net started fraying, so was cheaper to purchase new set than just the net. Would recommend for a friendly game of volleyball. I would't recommend if more than 2-4 people are playing and no heavy hitters as the base just sits on the sides of pool and is only filled with water. I would think it would toppel over if your to close to the net with to many people playing

Overall this product is nice and I would recommend it to others. The base of the net posts have a hole to be filled with water two way down the posts, but the bases leak so the posts fall over. We mat try sand inside to prevent them from falling over. This just makes it more problematic to store because of the heaviness once they are sand filled

I'm using these for my aqua aerobics class for "game night" once a month. I find that if I roll the net up on one post as I'm taking it down from the pool (taking one post with the net tied on it, pulling it out of the base, then rolling it like a scroll until it meets the opposite post, which I then take out of it's base) I have no trouble with tangles, and no trouble setting up next time. The bases are super easy to fill dunking them in the pool. Getting the water out involves some shaking and isn't my favorite part, but I'd have to take down anything right after class, and the heavy -weight ones you leave in just wouldn't work for me. They will fall over if someone pulls at the net, so I make sure people stand well back as a "game rule." Nobody knocked it over by spiking the ball into the net yet, but we use beach balls, not actual volleyballs. Having some kind of weight to lean on the base-- a bag of sand maybe?-- would make you able to pull the net more taut and higher than I do for class. It takes me about 5 minutes to set up, about 10 to take it down if I shake out all the water and put it in my dufflebag, Sometimes I just empty out most of the water, and then shake out the rest at home over the bathtub so I can store them dry.

The volleyball set is easy to put together and use. We filled the pole bases with water and snapped the poles into them without any trouble. The net is a nice size (height) and fits our 21' pool with not much left over. There are two drawbacks to this set though. The first is that the weight of the net tends to pull the poles inward at the top, which makes the net sag a bit. For those of you who like a low net for spiking, it won't be a problem. But seriously, it does sag a few inches. We corrected the problem by taking some poly-rope and tying the tops of the poles to our deck rail. So you can get buy this one if you don't mind the tie ropes. The second problem, which is a bigger problem, is that the net only lasted two seasons. I suspect the pool chemicals had a lot to do with it. It seemed to be disintegrating each time we used it. This is our third season with it, and I'm looking for a new net as the ends of the net that tie to the poles have come apart completely so there's nothing to tie to the poles. For the price, it's a good set. Maybe if you rinse the net off with tap water after each use it will last longer, but that's only a guess. If I had to buy it again, I probably wouldn't because of the net. But for an affordable net that's quick to set up, this one should do the trick.

I have to admit, I am impressed. We purchased this volleyball set last summer and have used it constantly since. The product is easy to setup/takedown and tons of fun. I have a 18' wide inground and the net easily covers this distance. The net itself is probably ~16' wide, so it spans almost the entire distance across our pool and the strings are easily another 4-6' longer on each side, so it should fit a 24' wide pool as advertised. I think it took me about ten minutes to setup the supports and net. We fill the bases with water and they are remarkably stable - I don't think the net bases/supports have been pulled into the water yet. The ball provided is actually very durable and hasn't needed to be inflated. One other note...at the time of this review, Amazon provides two photos of the set. You might notice that the two photos show different bases. Our set matches the bases shown in the photo of the box.

Bought this for my granddaughters birthday party, put it together same day and what a disappointment. Bases will not support the net on a 15’ span across my pool. Bases leaked slowly and anytime the ball hit the net, one or both bases fell into the pool. Had to support both bases with 5 gallon buckets of water tied to the poles to keep the poles upright and not fall in. Very embarrassing moment as it all looked very tacky. Bases hold maybe a gallon of water at best which is about 8 pounds. To support a span such as this plus the weight of the net and ball hitting the net needs at least 25 pounds of support. Cheap and poor design so do not buy. You will be very disappointed. Sending back for a refund. Spend a bit more money on large bases that will support the net properly.

Very long net!! We wrapped it up in the poles and use what we need. Have the option of placing lengthwise if wanted. It is flimsy but it withstood us playing. Professional? No. Sturdy enough for backyard pool? Definitely!! Will it topple if you pull on it? Yes. The length of the net though does allow the option for us to tie to our pool fence to offer more stability if we needed a more “serious” game. The worst of course was having to inflate the ball- as how all balls are shipped.

Great set. Not top quality but great for the price. Ok not problem is bases are to light when filled with water a ball in the net makes bases slide. I am going to glue some treaded rubber on base bottom to see if it helps from sliding on pool deck

We had so much fun in our pool palying volley ball at Christmas with the kids and then on Australia day with both kids and adults.

Just bought this because we are currently in lockdown in Ontario and we needed something fun to do after working inside all day. The product came as described and was easily set up. very sturdy and fun to play. I would highly recommend it.

Box was glued together when we opened it had missing parts . I think it would be a good item if all came with it
