Review: Beautiful Teak Utensils - Because I've recently learned about the toxins in recycled black plastic utensils, I have eliminated all my nylon, silicone and plastic utensils and replaced them with stainless steel and wood. I selected these FAAY utensils because they are made of solid pieces of beautiful teak and have ergonomic handles and they do not have varnish or dyes or synthetic treatment on them. They are 100 percent natural. These are perfectly crafted with no seams or splicing or rough edges. Because they are teak, they will resist moisture and will be part of my kitchenwares for the rest of my life. A wonderful investment.

I use these spoons almost everyday to mix leafy salad with some fruits in a wooded mixing bowl. My simple salad has better texture and good seasoned when I use wood. I particularly like the size, not too long like a typical salad serving set. Teak wood vary. First set had a little too much variation between two spoons to me. I contacted a seller. They offered to send me a second set. It is a lot more nicer. I also bought a pizza / pie serving from them before this set that made me order more from them. A good seller, good reasonable products.
