The best trim saw I have owned. It cuts super quick. Since it cuts on the pull stroke there is no binding. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid, safe, effective and compact -- but a bit heavy *by S***S on May 19, 2020* Bought this as a replacement for a similar camping saw that was much lighter, but much flimsier. That one lasted me through many camping trips in the woods, but there was always this fear that the locking mechanism would fail or the plastic handle would break, leading to injury (which could be bad when you're in the middle of nowhere). This saw resolves all those fears - it's solid and easily cuts through thick wood (i sawed a 4" diameter branch with no issues, which would have been problematic with the older one), with a much more secure locking mechanism , thicker blade, sturdier and grippier handle. The ONLY issue (and it's a big issue if you're looking for ultimate portability) -- it's quite heavy.
