Kikkerland Over the Rainbow Crank Music Box

Every year, my kids get a music box on Christmas Eve. They come in all shapes, sizes and styles. This year I went small and picked two of these little Kikkerland boxes. They are made nicely enough, especially for the price even though there are some plastic parts. They play like any other small music box and sound better when amplified on a wood surface. My kids love the song by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole that has Over the Rainbow and What a Wonderful World, so each child will get a part of the song. The other child will receive: Kikkerland What A Wonderful World Crank Music Box .

As a little girl, I grew up with a couple of music boxes. I love watching the gears move and the simple music it produces. My 7yo boy loves the music box I've had as a little girl. He watches the gears move and listens to the music just as I did before bed. I love this one because it doesn't have a case so you can see everything clearly, my boy loves this song AND he doesn't have to play with mine anymore which is quite delicate. This is great for $6!

I was looking for something unique and cute for our niece's 6th birthday. I found this, got excited and ordered it. It is so nice! I love that you can crank it yourself, although I kinda wish it had a wind-up crank as well, in case you wanted to build your own music box. The coolest thing about this is how the enchanted tinkling is amplified when sitting on a hard surface. It's magical!

Memory Maker filled with hope. Who doesn't remember Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz? This cute little crank music box will take you back to that wonderful moment...I have purchased several different crank music boxes and I am very pleased with the quality...not a sour note. So with a song in my heart I gladly recommend and Thank Kikkerland for their quality products. Check out the other songs they have and get your own Memory Maker. Sincerely, kitti ~^••^~

Having bought a couple Kikkerland music cranks before (TMOTT Ballgame and fur elise), I expected good things from this one. The first i bought sounded terrible; I basically had to use my imagination to believe it was playing SOTR. So i submitted a return and was sent a replacement. Same issue, sounds terrible (off-tune, bad notes). I would never use the crank in a craft or a gift to a friend. The gadget needs a redesign.

Everything is great about this music box except one (important) thing. It's not very loud. It's a beautiful song and a nice looking music box... you just need to be in a very quite place to enjoy it. I am not an expert on music boxes but I do have another one (not the same brand) that is much louder.

Fast delivery. I bought it to show my G-Son how they worked. It is exactly what I wanted. He of course at 10 was not nearly as impressed as I had figured he would be. The music box works as it should and feels very sturdy.

I bought this for one of my operation Christmas shoebox.I wanted something musical and pretty for a 14 year old girl.It was beautiful.I hope she loves it when she takes it out of the box.I will be buying more for next year.

This music box was so pretty, it was in good condition, the box it came in looked super cute, and it sounds amazing. I can’t wait to give it to my mum for Christmas! Highly recommended I love it :)

tutto stonato
