50 pcs Large Plastic Multi-Gauge Rivet 1/4" Hole Patio Strapping Fasteners Webbing Lawn Chair Lounge (Black)

They weren’t an exact replacement for my original button anchors for my straps. And the head is way bigger than the originals but they did work. I don’t hardly sit on this chair so I don’t know how long it’ll last.

I am replacing a couple of broken vinyl straps on my patio chairs. I drilled the 1/4" holes as instructed and the rivets fit perfect and snug. The videos showing you how to install the straps, and show how they easily stretch, and exactly how long to cut them, fail to mention the width you should buy. Mine measured about 1-3/4", so I ordered a roll 2"x20'. These did not stretch as easily as demonstrated, so I checked Amazon again and found 1-1/2" rolls of strapping. I will order this and try again. All of this is no reflection on these rivets, but I will say that I popped one side in, and found that they held very firmly, as they should.

I converted the slits to rivets when replacing my swing straps and increased the vinyl to a thicker strap for more support. These did the job for a double wrap. The swing has new life with stronger vinyl straps. Much more comfortable than the weak, thin ones that came installed on the swing. The factory installed ones were always stretching out and falling off it you sat on the swing too long.

They did not fit my freezer.

They were a little more difficult to get in the chair hole without bending, but they work so far.

I finally found the right one! It fits perfectly, so. I could fix all my broken pieces!!!
