A bit on the salty side—but that’s part of the traditional charm! A fantastic product for anyone craving real Cincinnati-style chili. Highly recommend.

Most people think of chili as a Mexican dish. It isn't, really; it originated in San Antonio, Texas! We're all familiar with that type of the spicy dish, but this newer version, originating from another American city, none other than Cincinnati, Ohio! This version of the chili we all love is a very different taste. If you've been to that city, you might have enjoyed this delight. With this mix, it couldn't be easier to make. Unlike that other variety, which usually includes beans, and is served over rice, beans are optional here, and it's served over spaghetti. You can do a two-way, which includes a big mound of shredded cheddar cheese. A three way adds beans; a four way adds minced onions, and a five way is everything! Any way you go, this former Philadelphian who's now in sunny Florida, loves it!

Grew up in Cincinnati and this is the real deal. Not a flavor everyone loves, but if you do, you do! 5 Way for ever!

We have moved to Florida. These are perfect for that Hometown taste. 6 cups od water tells you iy makes a nice sized portion.

Very good chili.

I know the original product very well. I lived in Cincinnati from 1969-1984. I used to eat at Skyline chili at least once a week. My preference was a three-way and Coneys with skyline chili on the top. These packets are the bomb! They are easy to prepare. Instead of all ground chuck, I add a pound of ground pork. The combination of the fattiness from the chuck and the pork make this dish exceptional.. I ordered 12 of these packets because they were very reasonable in cost. Because I had other items on my list I received them in an overnight delivery. If you really want the best “dogs” try to find big reds, which are all pork ballpark “hotdogs” for your enjoyment! Living in Florida we don't get a chance to eat Coney’s or 3 Ways often. We purchased these at the grocery store but they don’t always have them in stock. We buy several at a time and we get our “Skyline Chili fix.” Well, it’s close but nothing like the Original Skyline Chili. Being born and raised in Cincinnati you never forget that taste.

Not a bad chili mix, but I do prefer the Gold Star packets.
