Yamaha Bolt 2014 *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2020* Received an installed a couple of hours ago. No instructions or diagrams with the product so it took a couple of tries to get everything assembled in the correct order. Typical for these Chinese products. I also had to get some shorter bolts than the supplied ones and spacers to mount it. I guess you could use the stock bolts but there would be a strain on them as the rack is wider than the frame rails by about an inch. All holes aligned up perfect. Spacers were 13mm and the new bolts were M8 x 70mm. They barely stick out past the fender nuts so no cutting was required. Overall I'm pretty happy with the looks and quality. The back pad is pretty cheesy but usable. I doubt it will last long in the Arizona heat. Paint is OK but not great. Considering the price, which went up $20.00 since I bought mine, this is a decent value. There are NO instructions. Worst off, I found some videos online on how to install this, and apparently there are some washers used when installing this. They were not included. The bolts that hold it all together will only screw in from the outside (which looks ugly), and aren't even long enough to get through the backrest portion, let alone go through the luggage rack and side mount portions. There are NO holes in the backrest to screw it on, so had to handle that myself. This is without a doubt one of the worst things I have ever spent money on. The manufacturers should be ashamed for selling such a shoddy piece of crap. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars What you pay for, but not bad. *by L***H on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2024* Ok, so like other reviews said, the hardware on this kit sucks. I ended up replacing the bolts with M8x70, 1.25 thread, on all four spots with ~11mm spacers and a little rubber washer to help protect the paint underneath as shown in the pictures. They do stick out a little in the fender but I don't think there going to hit the tire. You could almost go maybe M8x60, I might try that later and see how it looks. I also replaced the small bolts that attach the top areas with ones that are black (to match) and that were just slightly longer, I don't know why they provided bolts that seem weirdly short for getting thru all the parts.
