Due to the garment hook arrangement in my '18 Pacifica the mounting brackets, (the ladder bracket and the T-Bar) are quite close together. This means the load of the clothing on the bar is supported only on the end. I'm fairly sure that it will support the 12 pound rating as advertised but I would like to see a spine of some kind on the clothes bar to stiffen it, what a carpenter would call a strongback, or a different mounting system that would give mid bar support.
