These are low priced sunglasses. I expected they would be ok. I frequently embark on long distance biking and kayaking outings where I live in Florida. Eye protection is a must. The first thing I noticed was these glasses fit nicely with almost zero light bleed from the nose area or from above. I have taken them on over 1,000 miles of biking and kayaking to date and they have not failed. The small insignia on the temple end piece fell off on one side. This in no way affects function. Most remarkably the lenses are still scratch free and they are not handled gently. I am writing this review because I am buying another pair for when and if the originally purchased pair fails or more likely I somehow break them. These really have been one of the best value purchases i've made. ### ⭐ Zero Sun Protection *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2018* I've worn these dozens of times—while hiking, driving, at the beach, at sporting events. They look great, fit great, and are super lightweight on my narrow female face. They feel flimsy and the lenses pop out with little pressure but go back in easily, and they've held up really well. HOWEVER, my eyes burn every time I use them. If I'm out in the sun with them on for more than 30 minutes, blinking is painful for the following day or two. I'm pretty sure they offer zero UV protection. What's the point of sunglasses that don't protect your eyes from the sun?! I've never been so disappointed with sunglasses in all my life. Also I have a small head ( I usually buy kid sunglasses) and these don't fall off or look too big on my face, which is even better! Other people i.e. My boyfriend have used them and they look fine on him (yes he has a "normal" size head lol).
