Excellent materials!
I was surprised at the amount of cards you get and make sure you have plenty of room. Everything this company makes is top notch! Silkscreen playmats that would make great Wall Art or a Computer Desk matt, the box is well construted with extra room if you wanted to sleeve them, LOL cardboard arm band in the box, the art is excellent. The art isn't washed out, grainy, or any misprinted. The set has 8 well made and concise referance cards. The game isn't too complicated and the hardest part is finding the space to set it up, there are games like Middle Earth and Legend of the Five Rings that are just nuts. The space required actually beats other Card games like Wyvern, Magic The Gathering, or IMHO. It isn't a fast card game nor a long one, shorter than Magic: the gathering but not as long as Vampire The Eternal Struggle. If you like weird, enncentric, Japanese games you won't be disappointed. It's not terribly expensive as Collectable Card games like Force of Will either unless you buy this game and accessories from the manufacturer, the shipping from Japan can be expensive.

Bad packaging
Love the game! Great art and was what I wanted. Just terrible packaging. Not a box but a bag. The corners and ends show signs of being crushed a bit. If it was shipped in a box I would have given her 5-5.

It's Cute
I bought El Alamein first but I found the basic game Barbarossa is better than it. You coule change some rules to mix the 2 game together. El Alamein is more like an expansion pack of this one.

I love the artwork and gameplay
I love the artwork and gameplay. All my friends enjoy the game when I bring it over. Glad I supported the kickstarter and glad I bought a second one. <3

Not bad but needs to be balanced.
My thoughts on this game is pretty basic. The theme is hit or miss depending on the players, I like it. The art is nice. I wish the small box that it came with the game did not have an opening in it when bracing the cards in the main box. The only negative is some of the cards make the game unbalanced. For me it is mostly the support cards. My friend is a major deck builder fan and plays them more then I do. The last game we played he destroyed me 97-33 and it is thanks to the support cards and one of the tanks coming in untapped letting him take a city a turn at the end while I could only take the weaker cities. It is a fun game but very unbalanced I am thinking house rule may be needed or just never play with the support deck.
