I got this to route some lights I bought more cleanly. The light brand was SUERCAI.YO or something like that. The included cable wasn't long enough, this one was. And it works just fine, I've had no issues. The cable itself doesn't feel terribly cheap, though I wouldn't call it heavy duty either. The two clips are helpful for installing it and routing the cable cleanly, but in my case not enough, so I had to get some more.

They are very long and covered a lot more space than I expected they are also very bright and didn’t need all the lights to brighten up my living room and kitchen area. Super easy to install even with me installing them in the ceiling. I did order a longer switch on the aide because of the placement I picked. They didn’t feel hot when on. Overall I’m very happy with the lights even though they do feel “plasticy” and light but doesn’t affect their quality and made it easy to move around.

CHECK YOUR WATTAGE! I was referred to this product by an LED light manufacturer. I bought two, but only used one with a daisy-chain of 6 of the LED lights (they said 8 maximum). But after about 2 months of usage, they started to flicker, then stopped. So I went back up there and checked, and the switch on this cord had melted through. Then I went an looked at the specs, and found that this is only 100W MAXIMUM! That seems very low for a cord, so I didn't think about it. I was running each light at the lowest voltage, which is 40W, but that meant 240W total so it burned out the switch. Kind of my fault, but I wish they had put a better switch on here. I wouldn't have expected it to only be 100W. Since my lights are controlled by a wall switch to an outlet in the ceiling, I searched around and found just a plus extension that was rated for 1250W and, to be extra safe, used 2 of them with only 3 lights in each string off the plug.

I have this connected to a Barrina light set and this cord works as the input cord even though Barrina linking cords are proprietary. I actually didn't need the inline switch since the outlet they're on is on a switch but I couldn't get a cord this long without the built in switch. I just leave that on and they work great for me.

Worked for about a month, then switch stopped working. Got very hot to the touch and began arcing.
