Bosch Universal Plus Stand Mixer - Black - Baker's Package with Additional Baking Attachments and Stainless Steel Bowl

I'm so glad I bought this Bosch mixer! It mixes dough and cake mixes so perfectly! It's pricey but so worth it! And I am glad I am able to pay for it in installments. Run and don't walk to buy this mixer. I bought several of the attachments and each one work so excellently! I will have this for many many years to come, and I'm so glad I bought it. I would give it 100 stars if I could! I highly highly recommend this Bosch mixer!!!!!!!!

Make no mistake — I did not rate this five ⭐️ , but I ❤️ My Bosch. Never heard of this much less seen anything like it until following the Sugar Geek channel on YouTube; my KitchenAid artisan mixer I’ve saved up for and wanted for so very long (pales in comparison to my Bosch) is retired into my garage cupboard —my Bosch takes center stage; powered with 800w it out performs the KitchenAid. I have no regrets purchasing it. I like that not it mixes dough AND kneads it as well — saves me from the hard work. Very handy as I’m recovering from January 2020 hand surgery. Mixing and kneading in my Bosch, I proofed Sweedish cardamom bun dough in my ninja foodi using the dehydrate feature — my house/kitchen is cold because of the granite, tile and hardwood. I was able to make my buns in 1/2 the time it normally would take, vs missing/kneading by hand and proofing in a warm place or firing up my oven. There are negative reviews out there, but I’ve been blessed to receive a brand spanking new (ordered in black) unit, sans dents/chips when unboxed; all components present, and the added bonus of YouTube tutorials to help me along. I ❤️ That you add ingredients from above vs. the side like the KA mixer. This is convenient and helps minimize messes—at least for me. Even though this sexy beast is strong and makes your mixing/kneading fast, there are more pieces to clean when done, hence my 4⭐️ rating. I’ve had it for a while and have not experienced any issues; I hope that will be the case for the future as I’ve seen some VERY vintage Bosch‘s on YouTube.

I've had another stand-mixer for decades, but I've grown tired of the inconvenience of having the motor above the mixing bowl. When I learned of the Bosch mixer with its motor below the bowl, I was intrigued. More research convinced me that it was worth a try. I have not been disappointed! I've only made several batches of cookies thus far and have yet to mix bread dough, I have really liked the machine's power and ease-of-use. Creaming butter is super-fast and efficient! I'm very pleased with my purchase.

So, I tried to get support for the bowl, which separated into multiple pieces. Then I tried to find a replacement bowl assembly. You can buy it directly from Bosch, but Amazon doesn't sell it (or at least, the algorithm hides it from being able to found). They just want you to drop $600 and buy it again after 6 years. I liked it for the time, but frankly, KitchenAid will last for decades for probably less initial outlay. And you can always find replacement items for it. Don't spend your money on this pieces of junk. The bad thing is, the actual motor is still working, but there is nothing I can use with it.

Since it had so many good reviews, I originally ordered the plastic bowl version to save money, but when I opened it I knew I would not be happy long term so I returned it and ordered this one. I’m so happy I did. I love the stainless steel bowl version and also ordered the ice cream maker attachment. With grandkids visiting the first thing we did was make ice cream. It was a huge hit.

I’m a Kitchen aid fan, although I still love kitchen aid this is my new kitchen workhorse. I made a double batch of hot cross buns and it was a breeze. I purchased the stainless steel bowl because I make macarons and it’s merengue based cookie. I’m loving it worth the money.

This is an awesome deal with the separate cake and cookie paddles, bowl scrapers, and cookie mats. These Bosch mixers can do it all in a very tidy way: whip cream; beat egg whites for meringue; mix cookies, cake, bread dough, smoothie’s in the blender…and now make ice cream in the available ice cream attachment (which I have not used yet, but excited to do soon). Been using Bosch my whole life…just keeps getting better!
