I ordered a 12x15 pad to put in our basement under a thinner rug. It appears that the quality will be good. The only downside is that it smells very strongly of some chemical smell. I’ve laid out the pad by itself and have opened some upstairs windows. Smell was very evident when I first opened the bag. Hopefully it airs out over a few days.

This rug pad is great. It's no-frills, grippy, and easy to trim. I bought the 2' x 12' and trimmed the length using kitchen scissors to match the length of my 2' x 8' hallway runner. I didn't think I really needed one before, but the runner kept sliding every time I ran on it, so now with the rug pad underneath I can confidently sprint down the hall and not fear for my life! Super useful for me who is always forgetting things and rushing back into the house for them! This rug pad will surely save you from debilitating injury. Needless to say, I'm very happy with it.

I purchased a 7 foot square rug, but couldn't find that size rug pad. Bought the 8 foot square pad at a great price and trimmed it to fit. I'm very happy with this product.

It works okay, but wasn’t exactly the right size although measurements match my rug. Ended up having to cut some of it for it to fit and the corners somehow keep riding up underneath my rug when walked on.

This went beneath an area rug. The pad is supposed to be 2-3" from edges around the rug. No cutting to size needed on my 8x10 area rug.

Quite a jungle to sort through but this was a good choice. Good value and it works. I have a shaggy rug that needed some padding but not too much. This is perfect. It is comfortable underfoot and stays in place. I had to trim it to fit my round rug and that's easy. Lots left over for smaller scatter rugs!

Does the job....no slipping and sliding.

it gripps the floor well and was easy to trim to fit my odd size rug. I wanted it for the airflow for the hardwood underneath. and of course to keep my rug in place. I paired it with a medium to low pil rug. I wouldn't suggest it for a thin washable rug as I don't have any experience with those.

Bought for my daughter, works great

It was easy to cut this to the size of my rug with regular scissors and it stops slipping and potential accidents.
