Hultafors 380270"Ok4" Outdoor Knife - Green/Black,Alloy Steel

I received the knife and was shocked to see such a defect, especially from such a well-known company. I am very disappointed with the product quality.

I must have had a faulty knife, from reading all the other reviews I was expecting to be able to use it straight from the box. However I could run my finger the whole length of the blade with no fear of getting cut. I was going to return it but decided to keep it and practice my novice sharpening skills. It's now shaving sharp.. No thanks to hultafors.

The top had obviously been used extensively for flint striking, the blade was dull, the spine tilted to one side, there was structural damage to the blade. If the replacement is actually what I paid for I'll reconsider my review.

The quality of this item us dreadful. The handle is cheap plastic and blade is very thin. The description shows a flint which this item hasn't got. The sheath is a dreadful quality plastic. It is way too expensive for what you get, it's not even packaged in a box, just is a piece of bubble wrap. Absolutely dreadful. Save your money. I do not recommend this item.

Blunt, so very very blunt. Honestly I think calling it a knife is a bit far fetched. Read other reviews.. they come blunt, knifes should be sharp out of the box.. this was useless and I was stuck in a field hacking a deer apart with this blunt c**p

Looked bigger on YouTube, as soon as I gave it it's fist sharpen the black paint came right off! This knife is for light work.

The tip of knife is extremely deformed due to an uneven grind all along the primary bevel. Very poor QC from Hultafors. I will think twice before ordering anything else from them in the future.

Knife arrived with the tip of the blade fractured, I know it's a cheap knife but expected better brand new.

Heard and saw the reviews on this knife and took the plunge. Batoning: able to baton but only can be done to smaller logs Feathering : does a great job Filleting : Does the job but not the best cut Will recommend for the casual camper who needs a knife to get things done around the campsite . Not your FX-1 or ESEE . But it’s a heck of a workhorse

Someone at Hultafors had the bright idea to marry the GK blade with the HVK handle. I ordered it without actually holding it in my hand. When I received, I was disappointed to see that the handle was exactly like the HVK's. It has the ridged rubber overlay, which I despise. I find rubber leads to lots of hotspots and sore hands. It's also made for small/medium hands. The good, the blade is tough as nails. I like that it's coated, to protect against corrosion. The spine is squared off, so you can use it with a ferro rod. It also didn't have the secondary bevel that the GK does. Is it worth double the price of the GK? In my opinion, no, but it's a decent alternative to the much more expensive Mora Bushcraft Black. If I could do-over, I'd get the OK1. Same blade, much bigger handle with no rubber. If you already have a GK, sharpen away the double bevel & save your money.

Cuchillo excelente, pequeño (9cm de hoja aproximadamente) , el mango es genial, el mejor grip de todos cuchillos que he probado. Espiga oculta que llega a los 2/3 del mango (hasta la A de hultafors) comprobado con imán. Sensación de robustez y consistencia que no Dan otros cuchillos similares (morakniv, baco, etc....) totalmente recomendable para compra , sea uso casual o intensivo. He cortado troncos de 20cm de diámetro con corte transversal para probar y pasa con nota, batoneo limitado por hoja pequeña, pero el cuchillo aguanta. Lo llevo al campo siempre y no te deja tirado. Un pequenajo para ir al infierno y volver con el. Un precio muy ajustado para la calidad recibida. Gracias
