These ping pong paddles seem to be made well for this price point. They are not top of the line and don't offer much as far as grip or spin but if you're just looking for a decent set to mess around with, these will do just fine. We bought them as a new to the sport family who play every now and then in the garage and they have been great for that purpose. Since then we have upgraded to a more intermediate tier paddle but these are still around for friends and family to use. They seem to be pretty durable compared to other beginner or family sets. Very lightweight but solid with a large sweet spot for control. The rubbers are thin so they play more direct but I gravitated toward more of a spin style. I would recommend these for anyone looking for decent quality in a beginner set but if you're serious about getting into ping pong, you'll probably want to go for a higher tier paddle.

Great to be used with family and friends without breaking your good ones. Optimal quality/price point.

==Review Written 1+ Yr Since Purchase== We bought this Stiga table tennis set to use with our Stiga Raven Table Tennis Table, mainly for casual games at home. Overall, it’s a solid beginner set and good for families or anyone playing recreationally rather than competitively. The paddles and balls work well enough for casual play, but I was honestly expecting slightly better quality from the rackets and balls. They feel a bit basic compared with higher-end table tennis gear. That said, they’re definitely a step above the really cheap $1–$2 plastic paddles you sometimes see. On the positive side, the balls have actually held up pretty well. We’ve been using them for over a year and none have cracked during normal play (the only casualty was one our dog chewed). Overall, this is a good value set if you want something affordable that still feels decent for recreational games with family or friends. If you’re more serious about table tennis, you may eventually want to upgrade to higher-quality paddles.

These ping pong paddles are perfect. Just purchased a Joola ping pong table from Amazon and purchased this paddle and ball set. We use this all day long. Great quality and weight. Easy to hold the paddle with the gripped handle.
