- Handmade firelighters start fires with ease by eliminating the need for kindling or newspaper and makes a beautiful addition to any hearth.
- Made completely in the USA. Firepot is hand thrown from porcelain pottery, and includes a custom made cast iron wand made by a local blacksmith in Maine, and firestone made in the USA.
- The included fire starter wand will burn for approximately 10 to 15 minutes after being stored in the fuel filled fire pot. We recommend lamp oil as the fuel. It’s not included, but is inexpensive and readily available.
- Works in wood stoves, fireplaces, wood stove inserts, fire pits, and even charcoal fires.
- Fire pot measures approximately 8 inches tall excluding the wand. Wand measures 13.5” long.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What type of lighter fluid is best... lamp oil, kerosene?  Any types of fluids that should be avoided?**
A: You can use kerosene but the best thing to use is a clean burning lamp or oil

**Q: How would this work with a woodstove? Every image is a fireplace and the item left in. Doesn't the handle get too hot to take out of a woodstove?**
A: It works well in my woodstove. I put it in the left corner and close the door as far as I can, with part of the handle sticking out. I leave it about 15 minutes until it burns itself out and the wood is burning. The handle doesn't get too hot.

**Q: I have the pot but need to replace the wand with the ceramic stone. Would this be available stand alone?**
A: Hi Gregory, sorry for the delay in responding. We don't have the wands available by themselves anywhere for purchase, but if you purchased one of our Firelighters and need a replacement wand and store, give us a call we can arrange it.
