I am not a professional dancer, but I do aim to become one. This stretchmax has really helped me to become more flexible. When I first began, I was not able to get my arabesque parallel to the ground, but now I can with ease. The product slips into the door very well and is made with excellency if I do say so myself. Edit: I am 200+ pounds and absolutely NOT a professional dancer, nor do I have any aspirations to become one. Dance Moms was definitely the reason I bought this thing all those years ago...one hell of a show. I am now a fully grown adult human and can say that this thing has lasted me 7 years. I didn't use it regularly, but when I did use it, I definitely got a good stretch from it. If you're fat, I'd be careful with the pressure you put on this thing unless you have solid doors (unlike myself), but I haven't ripped any off the hinges yet. Can be a very effective way to get an assisted stretch. Stretching is so important, I really think everyone should have one of these if it encourages them to stretch. It is nice to have something like this as opposed to trying to stretch without anchoring something. I lose my balance just standing, so this thing is pretty nice.

I absolutely love this! I’m a pretty big girl and tall I was concerned if this would hold my weight. It really does and it’s so easy to use. Our doors aren’t the greatest I was kindve concerned with that also. It works like a charm! I can get some really good stances and stretches in.

It’s a good product. Would like it to be a bit longer for higher doors and smaller kids and not so rough on the hands. But all and all a great purchase!

A carry everywhere tool to stretch and work on your extensions. Super light ( in your dance bag or luggage ) and do not damage anything : you just need a door to instal it to “work by the door “ . To bring on vacation to keep your muscles in shape .

Very easy to use. Can use on any door. Very sturdy, good quality. My son loves it! It allows him to get the height on his stretches without someone helping him. I would definitely recommend this to any dancer or anyone else that is looking to gain flexibility. Thank you.

It's a great concept and would work really well on a smaller person. My daughter is 16 years and 5 ft 6 in she has long legs and needs to go higher in the air but the belt doesn't allow it. I wish i bought her the adult one.

Habe diesen Stretchgurt gekauft um mich auch zu Hause dehnen zu können. Es ist wichtig auch zu Hause regelmäßig Dehnübungen zu machen um schnellere Fortschritte beim Ballett zu sehen. Ich habe mich für diesen Gurt entschieden, da er zum einen praktisch und leicht an der Tür zu befestigen ist und mir gleichzeitig stabil schien. Die Befestigung an der Tür erfolgt mittels einer Schlaufe, die eine kleine Kugel im Innern hat. Die Schlaufe mit der Kugel wird zwischen den Türblatt und dem Türstock platziert. Anschließend wird die Türe geschlossen. Die Schlaufe kann nun nicht mehr rausrutschen, insofern richtig platziert. Dies funktioniert einwandfrei und hält gut. Durch einen kleinen halbrunden Metallring wird nun der eigentlich Gurt gezogen. Der Gurt ist solide hergestellt und hat an beiden Enden jeweils eine Schlaufe. Diese dienen dazu die Füße bzw. Hände zu platzieren. Die Schlaufen sind ebenfalls angenehm und drücken nicht übermäßig unangenehm bei Belastung. Anschließend können verschiedene Dehnübungen (siehe Beschreibung) durchgeführt werden. Wichtig ist, dass ausreichend Platz um die Türe vorhanden ist und sichergestellt ist, dass keiner aus Versehen die Türe öffnet. Andernfalls besteht Verletzungsgefahr. Die Qualität und Haltbarkeit des Produktes ist gut. Er hält meiner Belastung stand (ich bin sehr zierlich und wiege wenig). Der Gurt lässt sich nach Verwendung leicht wieder abnehmen und nimmt ganz wenig Stauraum weg. Ich konnte bereits gute Erfolge mit Hilfe des Stretchgurtes erzielen. Der Preis ist in Ordnung für dieses Produkt.

This was a really helpful product! i bought it and came the next day and i hung it on my door. Immediately I started using it as a great warmup or stretch tool. i have my leg to my ear straight now! Get this if you are any sort of gymnast to dancer. Love it and using everyday now.
