I have bought LD toner cartridges for various printers for many years (20+), they have ALWAYS exceeded my expectations and have ALWAYS been a great deal and a great price as compared to the original Okidata, Brother and Canon Original cartridges. I have used them in my business and I have yet to be disappointed with them ... I recommend you give them a try ! High quality stuff ...

My Canon starter cartridge for my Canon imageCLASS MF217w had started telling me to prepare a new cartridge, and I was getting worried every time I printed something that that would be the moment when I had to actually replace the toner cartridge. I was tired of constantly being notified that my toner was low (even though things still seemed to print OK), so I finally decided to just try to replace the cartridge when I didn't have an urgent need for it. I was surprised that the box contained no instructions whatsoever that I could find (either on the outside or in terms of an insert). So I just went with the Canon instructions for Canon cartridges. I was able to remove the sealing tape--it seemed to be slightly shorter than the 50 cm. that I was expecting for the Canon cartridge, but I think I got all of it. It was a bit difficult to pull the tab away from the cartridge so that it was aligned with the tape. I think it broke off a tiny bit of black plastic when I did this, but maybe it was supposed to, like the plastic was holding it in place. There were also little orange plastic thingies on each side of the LD cartridge, but since they weren't on the Canon cartridge I just removed, I figured that I was supposed to take them off, too. So I did: one came off easily, the other required more strength and wiggling. I could not find any information about the electronic chip--how to reset it or what to do if the printer still thought that the toner was low. But once there were no more orange things on the cartridge, I stuck it into the printer and closed it back up. It started up and did not display any error messages or tell me that I had notifications. I decided to print a couple of pages. The printer icon that displayed on my computer did not show the "low toner" warning. And when it finished printing, there were no notifications on the printer display for me (as there had been before, too tell me that the toner was low and to prepare a new cartridge). Best of all, when I opened up the printer settings on my computer to check the supply levels, it recognized that I had a full supply of toner! That was beyond any of my expectations--that without my doing anything, the printer recognized the cartridge and calculated the supply level. I did not think that this would be possible except with the brand-name cartridge! I would have liked some guidance from LD on how to prep and install the cartridge, but I'm giving it five stars because I'm so happy with the result, and maybe most people know what they're doing and don't need instructions. This was my first time replacing a toner cartridge. So assuming that I didn't break anything and that this will continue to print this well, I am thrilled! Note: For some reason, two of the features I was asked to rate here were "sheerness" and "thickness", and I have no idea what they have to do with a toner cartridge, so I didn't rate them.

Product received promptly and works fine. My only comment is that the box said it is for HP printers and I ordered it for a Canon printer. But it fit and works so it looks like it is just a labeling error.

Works good and good quality

I don't do a lot of printing, but even so the last cartridge order from these guys was 8 years ago, and it worked well the whole time. Definite value for money!

WELL! THIS is the item that I wanted because I have bought them before and they worked WELL! But, Holy Moly.....will they straighten out their product fulfillment? I have now received not just one, but TWO wrong items, both HP. I ordered CANON and the title says. So, buyers beware.

I bought this instead of the name brand. For me it works perfect. Will buy again. The ink may be a little lighter, but only can tell if you are looking real close, but I am not looking for perfect printing and I would rather save the money for this ink cartridge. If you want perfect printing pay the money for the name brand.

This ink was accepted by the printer and works so well! Price is so much better than the original price. Great product!

It worked fairly well for what we needed, packaged well. Despite what they tell you, toner is in fact toner.

After almost 2 months,medium to heavy printing daily and amazingly the toner still got about 30% left...Awesome deserves more than a 5 star rating.

Crisp and clear

We print seldomly a few pages every week and this toner does not hold up with it's print quality. It fades quickly and we haven't even gotten through 500 pages while the Canon toner will last us 3000 pages without blinking. I guess you pay for what you get. If you are on a budget and don't care much about print quality or longevity then you can't beat this price but if you are looking for quality AND volume then pay the extra for the Canon version.
