The descriptions for both say the same thing.** A: No they are not the same, there was a typo in the listing and it was corrected. Platinum blades are hard to get these days because they're slightly sharper than the stainless blades. **Q: Are these packed in white wrapper or are there letters on the wrapper saying gillette nacets?** A: The wrappers are white and printed "Gillette Nacet Stainless".
