I've been using 4711 for about 50 years and as far as I can tell it has never changed. I splash a bit onto a hot wash cloth and use it as a body wipe. Cleansing and very refreshing. BTW it doesn't care what gender you are.

Generational Scent
4711 has been used by the men in my family for four generations - except during WWII. A simple aftershave with a light scent. Enjoyable. Refreshing.

Powdery Lavender !
Very nice cologne ! It’s described by the manufacturer as a “ Unisex “ scent . My opinion is sorta ! I think it leans more towards the women’s side of the spectrum. I detect a very “ POWDERY “ scent layered over a far- off “Lavender “ aroma. It’s a very subtle and nice scent. Would recommend to all , but more so for the ladies !
