Also I would keep it closed with a bovida pack in there for 24 hours before traveling to season the case. He frequently loses cutters and then is all grouchy because he can't find one when he needs it. This protects his cigars and keeps his cutter all in one place. It easily fit in his shirt pocket also. The cutter works great and is well made. The blade is very sharp and easily cuts through thicker cigars with no problem. The case is very well made also, the leather feels nice and authentic, even though it isn't. The stitching is nice and the case is very sturdy.
