I believe so as this does not need drivers to work but I am not 100% sure.

It certainly works with a 2017 MBP, I can't see that a 2020 model is going to be any different.

Is it safe/ possible to use multiple ports simultaneously?

Hi, Yes you can use all the ports, the only limitation is the USB ports. As this plugs into a single USB C socket the current (amperage) will be limited to the power limit of the USB port. So in practice you can use USB memory sticks, Bluetooth dongles and Mouse/Keyboard dongles but higher current devices such as USB hard disks may not work.
