Because of the reverse thread, the counterclockwise rotation causes the extractor to get stuck with the fastener (remember that it needs to be rotated slowly to prevent slipping). When the extractor and the fastener are stuck, continue to rotate and you can take it out. However, screws that are rusted or stuck are not guaranteed to be removed .
