PRO 1000L Rechargeable Flashlight

I dont normally review, but this is my 3rd purchase of this light so it is worth it. Ill admit, the clip is not awesome. It will break if you have heavy use. There are replacements out there, however. The light is awesome when thr batteries aren't tried. Best part? I lost one in a snowstorm while snowblowing. 2 weeks later the snow melted and I found it. It survived the cold and water from the melting snow and works just fine. High value for money.

I own two of these now. The first one had very corroded batteries that got stuck inside of it. I had to screw a long screw down into the batteries and pull them out. This was completely my fault for not paying attention to the batteries. One thing to mention is that you can't "bang" the flashlight on the threaded end to get the batteries out. This metal is very thin and will bend super easy. I had a very hard time manually bending this back so that the threads would work and the cap would screw back on. I eventually cleaned the corrosion out of my flashlight using vinegar. I went ahead and ordered a new one in the mean time because I didn't know if the old one was ever going to work again. Now I have two of them. They are super bright and seem to be great flashlights. Just keep an eye on your batteries or use ones that are known not to leak.

I like the size. Fits the hand well, has good weight to it and feels like it will last a long time. It has a ''slide'' that you can use to turn it off or on instead of using the button on the end, which if you use the button you have to cycle through settings to get to the off position. I don't know why manufacturers can not just make a simple ''on/off'' switch for these types of lights. So I really like that i can slide it off and on and it is where it was the last time i used it. It seems to hold a charge for a good length of time. I have only charged it once when i received it and have used it maybe 12 times ....looking for stuff in boxes in my basement or looking for something that fell under the couch. It does get warm to the touch when in use for a period of time. It is bright but not as bright as the Energizer one i got for half the price at local store. Deducted a star for the price.

Great pocket light. This is my fourth I’ve purchased over the years. Have carried one since about 1982 when I became a fire rescue first responder. I’ve been hard on them over the years and they come in handy almost daily for just about everything you can think of. Money very well spent.

LOVE THESE FLASHLIGHTS!! They are perfect size for purse. I loved mine so much that I ordered one for each family member for Christmas.

This little flashlight is great. I bought this as a replacement for the one I had before. I say replacement not due to the flashlight itself but to to my error. My old one died due to me forgetting it was in my jeans pocket. By doing so I can’t count the times I ran it through the wash and dryer. The death of this flashlight was due to the end cap loosening during the wash with all the clothing. I should have taken it apart, ie drop the batteries and let it dry. Instead I just tightened the end cap after taking it out of the dryer when I heard it bouncing around. The bit of moisture caused the batteries to corrode. They seized up in the tube of the body. All my fault. It was still working when I tossed it but dim due to the batteries dying. I really wish I could have gotten the batteries out but short of drilling them out but that wasn’t going to happen. It has very aggressive end caps if needed for defense and what I put it through I’m sure it will keep shining if used that way. Oh yea, I bought 6 of these a few years back to give as Christmas gifts. Every one of them are still working and all that received them love them. Even the one I tossed was still working. So yea, no issues with any. Now if I can remember to take my new one out of my pocket before I do the laundry I will be happy.
