The dial twists easily and smoothly without being too loose. I haven't noticed any leaking of the jojoba oil I use it for. Dispenses a decent amount of product without gushing. Overall, I really like them.However, they don't hold very much and are not reusable. I don't like that they will just add to landfills quickly. If you could reset the twist dial back down and reuse them, then they would be an excellent product and value.
