The clock has remote, when the countdown finish, it will have a sound.

Can i freeze this in the calendar mode? is it available in smaller digits? can i get user guide before purchase?

This mode needs to be changed manually. The digital size of the clock is fixed and cannot be changed. If you buy this clock, an instruction manual will be attached.

I built a frame around the clock-- it looks great. But where is the light sensor exactly? I need to make an opening so the dimmer still works.

Hello,it is recommended that you do not make an opening of the clock easily, otherwise the internal parts will be easily damaged. All parts are on the internal circuit board of the clock.
