Using it on my M1917.
Installs without any drilling (which is an absolute requirement of mine, so I can restore the weapon to original. Holds the scope nice and tight. Works well

Worked great for me.
I needed to replace the rear iron sights on my Model 1917 Eddystone 30-06 rifle with a scope. I bought this kit. It took me about a half hour to have my rear iron sights replaced with a picatinny rail system and my Vortex scope mounted. The fit to the dovetail in the rifle was perfect and the included screws were exactly correctly threaded. I'm very happy with this product.
