Fit the truck. Works as intended. Fixed my problem. Fairly easy to replace.

Works for 2009 Chevy Silverado Passenger Door
For whatever reason it says it won't fit but I ordered this part for the passenger door and it works. It also removed the door ajar light if that is an issue for anyone that has similar problems. Followed youtube videos on how to take the door panel off. Easy plug in and and reassemble took about an hour by myself.

Worked for 6 months exactly, false alarms on truck
I ordered this door actuator July 31 2025 , My door lock actuator had a door open on Dic display and had my alarm going because alarm thinks door is open, I replaced it with this one , headed to work and I see message on Dic so when I was able to stop opened and shut door message still there got to work armed alarm and multiple chirps letting me know door is open and alarm want arm ,Today is Feb 16 2026 ,So I didn't get a year and im right back with a faulty door handle, And its not that easy replacing this part especially when you have large hands , But I wouldn't recommend this unless you like replacing every 6 months, im gonna try to contact seller to see if they will do a exchange...

My electric steps quit working cause my door latch was out, put these new ones in and steps work and even the door closes easier

Works, but had to use existing handle connector.
Installed in a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. Fits and works well so far, however the connector that attaches to the threaded door handle post did not fit. I had to take the plastic connector off the old unit to make it work. The diameter of the new connector was too small and would not clasp over the post.

Works great
Took me 90 minutes to replace this and the window regulator on a 2009 Silverado driver door. Great success power door locks and window now work! with the 3 control rods and one cable, sort of like a jig saw puzzle to get it apart and back together. Just be patient and you can do it.
