First time ever in my life I am winterizing my citrus trees, we live in Dallas TX . I researched extensively what lighting to use. I found out that Kelvin number ("temperature" of led) equals to sun in different seasons and affects plants differently. Whiter light, cool white (4200 -6000 K) is like mid summer mid-day sun. It promotes foliage and is good for herbs. Warmer light, yellower, low K number (2000-4100) is like fall sun, it promotes flowering, fruiting, but can cause elongation of the stems. I wanted to avoid leggy branches, cause my trees barely fit this greenhouse already. So i chose these cool 5000 K lights with some of the UV and IR. The 20w that equals to 100 claimed is the strongest full spectrum I could find. So I ordered these. Despite cool lighting, one of my mini lime trees flowers like crazy with bunches of tiny limes here and there. The others are just doing ok. Definitely not worse. I use these lights with another brand lamps with slightly warmer temperature (4200), i hsve it all mixed up, but the trees under these lights are behaving well. So, I guess that's a 5 star rating from my plants. Lamp is bright, is on for 14-18 hrs a day, stays cool, no fan in it (and I don't need one too). I only wish they made a bigger wattage lamp with same characteristics (5000k broad band with UV and IR) . I would purchase.

I used to use those long clamp lights before but my plants kept dying and stretching. These are so much more powerful and my plants LOVE IT. I have several all throughout my house and have seen so much improvement in my plants. My monstera is finally getting fenestrations in its leaves because it’s receiving better light! They don’t get very hot to the tough but they can get a smidge warm but still touchable! Be careful with distance when my plant got too tall it did burn little circles in the leaves but once I raised my lamp it was fine.

Had some issues with dents to flanges but otherwise it works fine, I questioned weather it was new or used but package looked new and maybe flanges got bent during shipping.

I've had these hanging from the ceiling in a relatively dark room for almost a year and my plants and I LOVE them. Very bright clear light that doesn't hurt my eyes like colored grow lights. And being in the room they're in gives me the same serotonin boost as sunlight

I purchased these after being fairly disappointed with “blue plant bulbs” from a specialized bulb and battery store. The brightness far surpasses those of the others and my tomato plants are doing excellent until I plant in May. My worst fear is “leggy” seedlings and I am happy that this bulb can produce enough light that my seedlings don’t stretch. A little pricey, but wow....the power though. I purchased the white bulb version.

Please take a little bit of time to show up but the plants seem to like them but they are more of a spotlight than an all over light so they're only going to get what's directly underneath them

I think it is very important for the seller to include the light spectrum in the description (they did). Some lights have a pinkish or purplish hue and then when you look at the spectrum you see that they aren't really covering the important plant absorption spectrums fully. This light's spectrum shows that it covers all of the necessary growth spectrums and guess what...it looks WHITE just like normal incandescent or sunlight.

Indeed it is bright but not sure whether this is a grow light in the first place. It is supposed to have 100w and in 1 ft distance it creates 8,500 lux. I have a 45W Daylight LED Grow Light Bulb that was $3 more with a better (pleasant) light spectrum and creates 65,000 lux - this is a grow light!

Sounds like mark got a lemon , the product is not sharp or awkward at all, very durable , stays nice and cool, great light over all! Will be ordering more for my planted aquarium

I’m so happy with this bulb because it works perfectly with my dimmer plug! So YES, it deems using a dimmer plug :) I’m using it for my planted fish tank so the 6000k temperature is perfect!

Elle sont d'un vrai 6500k mais il disent 100 watts et je pense pas que ça soit des 100 watts Car j'ai des 75 watts a la maison et il éclaire beaucoup plus que les spots que j'ai reçu De se que je crois ces 100 watts d'après moi les deux ensemble se qui m'indique que se serait des 50watts chaque spots Alors a par le fait que je crois que se sont des 50 watts par spot le reste est parfais les plantes les adores pareille

Out of all the dozens of grow lights I have, my plants like this one the best! They thrive under this light!
