Thanks!** A: I've washed the cups in the dishwasher (top rack) and I expect the pan can be dishwashed but I always wash it by hand as it is so easy to clean. The pan is also very good quality in my opinion compared to some pans I've purchased in the past. The lid too. If you oil the cups they clean easy else you get egg stuck to them and the dishwasher won'r remove that, they will need a good scrub. A little drop of olive or other oil, smeared round the cups with your fingers really helps to keep the eggs from sticking. They slip out easily with no egg sticking to them. Regarding another answer on here: The aluminium holder tarnishes when you wash it by hand also so whichever way you clean it it will stain. **Q: I couldn’t find the brand Chef Mate on the label when it arrived, is this correct?** A: You don't need labels , live fast ,poach free **Q: Are the egg cups non stick? I have an old poacher & the eggs stick like glue to them even if greased. Drives me nuts** A: The egg cups are teflon coated so non-stick but just to make sure suggest loosen top of egg with a rounded-end knife to serve perfectly--nice pan & lid . **Q: How much water do you put in the pan?** A: Afraid it’s a bit of ‘trial and err’ would suggest you fill the pan to about half way, but keep an eye on it. I bought it for my husband but to be honest he only used it about 3 times.
