Neat tool
I wasn't sure I was ever going to use this it seemed kind of gimmicky before the purchase but I use this thing constantly to install low voltage wall boxes.

Well worth having for both accuracy and time saving
I am not one to buy lots of jigs and things as it is just one more thing to store. This is definitely an exception to the rule, It is small, convenient and allows for accurate cutouts and is a big time saver. The non-slip pads on the back really work and prevent it from moving while you are tracing around it. This is definitely one to keep in the toolbox.

Worked great for expanding a box opening
I used to flip a steel box over and, using a torpedo level, draw the outline on the wall. I saw this template and thought it was a great idea. I had an existing box in hardcoat that I needed to expand to two steel work boxes. After removing the switch and getting the old box out, I used this template to draw out the cutting layout for twin boxes. Very nice, one hand on template, check for level, draw the outline with your other hand. Permanent addition to my electrical toolbox!

Wow! So Helpful and Easier To Use Than Traditional Method!
This product is perfect for 1 or 2 gang cutout marking. Some boxes you can use the box itself to mark the cutout, but no level so you have to maneuver a level with it and hope you hold it steady while you trace it. This makes it so easy because the level is on it already so you just put it on the wall, level-it, and trace it. Perfect cutout every time. On low-voltage boxes I realized there are 4 small holes that you're supposed to use and then connect the 4 dots with a straight edge. I found this to be difficult and doesn't come out very well. This tool does it perfect every time. Love it!

Very useful tool
This template does well for its purpose. You need to cut the hole a little smaller than the lines. I tend to get a hole that is a bit larger than the cut-in ring.
