Dorman 370-225 Trailer Floor Screws-Torx-1/4-20 in. x 2-1/2 in., 50 Pack

Each time we have to replace our pressure treated decking on our trailers, we use these self tapping heavy duty screws. They don’t back out, there is minimal corrosion, and they hold fast. I suggest using a 1/2” corded drill, you will need the power and torque, we’ve found cordless drills or ratchets smaller than 1/2” do not perform as well.

Pre drilled with 7/32nd and drove these right through 1/8 in mild steel. Everything worked perfectly. I had zero failure, every single bolt threaded snug. The job took less than half of the time I expected because these work so well.

These worked perfectly attaching 2x8 pressure treated boards to my heavy duty trailer frame. Drilled the hole with the 7/32 bit through both the wood and the metal, switched to the T30 bit and screwed it down. I put in 36 screws in less than an hour. There was no need to drill out the wood with a larger bit like I expected I would have to do. If you have 2 drills, even easier. Easy as pie. Very pleased with the product. Not one stripped or broke a head off. Would definitely purchase again.

These worked great for replacing my trailer deck boards.

Worked for me replacing a trailer floor. The heads of the screws could have been larger in diameter but I think they will be fine.

Worked just fine. I used them to install a new boards on my flat bed trailer. Now it’s just like new again.

Priced right and in the quantity you need, I suspect they were like a bakers dozen in case some fail but they worked as designed without any failures

Dorman always seems to make better replacement fasteners. Needed to replace the deck on my trailer. These are great for that purpose

Couldn’t find where I live. Used to redeck pull trailer. 0 slips or failures over 150 screws into metal. Taper head leaves smooth finish unlike hex head equivalent.

I’ve done a couple of trailer decks with other brands and I decided to try these for my big 37’x6’ gooseneck trailer and I’m glad I ordered them because they seem to be even better quality than the other two trailers I already did!

Self tapping, worked awesome

Reconditioned my trailer and I thought I would try this screw type. Says 50 screws on box but only 49. Needed 48. Time will tell how they fair in the weather and use of the trailer.
