Sturdy and well crafted! I wish they were available for wide lid jars too.

The lids fit the regular glass mason jars perfectly. I use mine daily to bring milk to work and the lid doesn't leak. They are easy to wash too and very durable.

These fit my Mason jars perfect. So much easier to use than the regular metal lids. They are made well, solid. I haven’t put them in the dishwasher but I’m sure they would be fine. I put liquid in one and turned it upside down and it didn’t leak. I’m really glad I bought them. I thought they were expensive but they are worth the price.

I drink cold coffee every day that's hot-brewed the day before then refrigerated overnight. This coffee gets poured right after it's brewed into a large Ball Mason jar, then I put a lid on and shake a little to mix the sugar and creamer. This was done with the metal lids for years but they kept rusting which affected the way they sealed. It was hard to get the metal lids closed in a way that would prevent leaks. The metal lids were cleaned in the dishwasher and I would remove and hand dry them after each cycle. I saw these plastic ones and thought I'd give them a try. Upon my first attempt to seal the jar of hot coffee, there seemed to be some slight leakage. I didn't want to go back to the old metal ones so I kept using them but tightened them a little more. After a couple of times of use and cleaning, I noticed that they weren't leaking anymore. I don't know if the heat from the coffee or me tightening them more to prevent any possible leaks did it but there's no more leaks. I really like them now and find them easier use than 2-piece metal ones. My advice when you get them would be to wash them and put them on a jar really tight before you use them the first time if you'll be storing/shaking liquid in your mason jars. I like them. They've made things easier for me. They don't rust and they don't leak anymore.

Works well, but very expensive for what you get. I buy Mason and Bali jars to feed our kids and parents, and the metal ones seem to rust out and decay quickly and if you want something that is quick and easy to get on and off, then this design makes the most sense, but it seems to me that there are much less expensive options that perform the same task.

These durable jar lids are used at my house to top jars used for food storage in the fridge or for jars I'm going to freeze. As I've removed the plastic food storage containers I use more jars and these hard plastic lids are not likely to have contact with food like the whole container itself. I don't can with these lids. They also fit a number of jars that came from the store with food (that you wouldn't use for canning but can reuse for storage). In particular these are handy with non-canning jars for making fresh pickles every summer.

So much more practical for daily use compared to the metal lids.

En algún momento compre las tapas blancas que venden para los tarros, las cuales me decepcionaron ya que no son herméticas y la calidad no era muy buena. Estas, sin embargo; son completamente herméticas y la calidad es excelente. Las he usado casi diario, por más de un año y no he tenido ningún problema. De ahora en adelante todos los tarros que no se usen para conservas les voy a comprar de estas tapas.

Las compré para unos tarros pero no les quedaron pero le quedaron a unos tarros más pequeños que teníamos pero todos bien mi culpa por no leer las medidas Ahí les dejo una foto con la medida
