Ok, although my child is heading to 3rd grade, I brought the 4th Grade Flash Card instead and we go over 2 words a week... Randomly I would say the word and she has to immediately spell the word, say what it means and use it in a sentence. By the end of the week she has learned 2 new words, understands the word and how to use the word. These cards are awesome for me to accomplish that mission!! I told her no playing around this summer, we on it!!

I bought these for my 9 yr old to learn over the summer. We go thru 3 - 4 cards per day. We're over halfway thru the deck and it's been great to see him learn and grow. Also, these words have led to discussions and questions that have helped him grow even more! Such a small investment of time/money has been returned 10 fold!

The flash cards provides two sides, one side with the words, spelled out, and the other side presents words broken into syllabus for easy pronunciation. The cards also provide definition and verb use for each word. My son enjoy and find your product very helpful. Thank you!

I bought this for my 4th grader and found the contents of these cards is comprehensive. It also offers a goal system to inspire your child to keep learning. The only concern I had was with the card quality. The paper is a little thin and may not last long term, but to me the value is in the content.

These cards helped my granddaughter get through some of struggles with vocabulary but they had a lot of vocabulary I thought some fourth or even 5th graders would be subject to yet. But I will keep using them through out her next 2 or 3 year grades because I definitely think she will benefit to build her vocabulary education. For the structure and the number of cards there were the price was really reasonable.

These cards can help build, review, teach vocabulary terms. These words are one grade level higher than what students are taught. So these are words for 5th grade students.

Loving them so far. Good quality stuff. I have given it to my third grader and she is slowly getting the hang of it. Of course, with any other learning guides, there’s some effort to be put in from the parents to make sure the kid is learning well.

Been homeschooling for over 20 years. Our nine-year-old loves this method of learning vocabulary. Our four other children used a combination of workbooks, avid reading, hooked on phonics, and explode the code for vocabulary.

These cards are great

I love this kind of product to teach my kids a bigger vocabulary pool. I teach them 24 new words every 2 days. So after one month, I am done with this package of 240 words. Then I move on to the next package. The result of having a greater vocabulary, the kids start to listen to more mature TV shows and understand what is being said. It's really rewarding to see as a parent. With a bit of discipline, you can teach your kids a grater vocabulary. I suggest you buy the entire kit for all primary school grade.

Really helped my son gain confidence in his abilities

It’s a good idea to help kids increasing vocabulary volume but not for my son… he found it’s kind of boring

I find some of the words are a bit advanced for grade 4 but my son loves having the meaning and an example how the word can be used. He’s already progressing with his reading and spelling.
